Made using grated ripe mangoes along with cumin seeds, sugar, chili powder and salt to taste. The sugar added preserves the pickle for a long time.
The pickle is popularly known as “Chundo” in Gujarat and can be eaten as an accompaniment to the main meal that consists of Chapatti, Sabzi and other food items.
Also tastes best when served along with hot chapattis or bread for breakfast in the morning.
