A Legacy Rooted in Tradition
The roots of Gopi Chandelkar Pickles trace back to 1970 when Late Shri Gopinath S. Chandelkar founded the company Chandelkar and Co., producing pickles and masalas. Over the years, the company evolved, and in 1994, it was divided into two independent units of pickles and masalas.
Late Shri Govind V. Namshikar(Biologiocal son of Late Shri Gopinath S. Chandelkar and adopted by Late Shri. Vasudev Namshikar), took over the pickle manufacturing segment. This marked the beginning of a new chapter in preserving and sharing the traditional recipes that had become a hallmark of the family legacy. Today, under the leadership of Shri Vallabh Namshikar(Son of Late Shri Govind Namshikar) the brand continues to uphold its founding values while embracing modern advancements to meet customer demands as GOPI CHANDELKAR PICKLES and SUVADIK PAPADS.
Expanding Horizons with Suvadik Papad
Building on the success of our pickles, we ventured into the world of papads in 2017 with the launch of Suvadik Papads. Recognizing the growing demand for authentic Goan papads, we introduced a range of products, including Goan Tarvoti Papad, Red Chilies Papad, Plain Udad Papad, and Garlic Papad. These papads embody the same commitment to quality and tradition, offering customers another way to savor the essence of Goa.
